Commercial

The job, start to finish.

A commercial roof fails differently from a house. It is usually low slope, so water sits on it rather than running off, and a defect the size of a coin can put water through a suspended ceiling into somebody's stock. The failure is rarely dramatic and is often months old by the time it shows up inside.

The constraint is almost never the roofing. It is that the building has to keep working while the roof is replaced. That means staging by section, keeping access clear, and knowing what is under each part of the deck before it opens, because a warehouse and an occupied office suite tolerate very different things overhead.

How It Works

01

Free inspection

A roof cannot be judged from the ground, and plenty of them turn out to have years left. The visit costs nothing either way.

02

The claim, if there is one

A carrier pays against a scope written in its own estimating format, so that is the format the damage has to be documented in. Somebody here does that full time.

03

Scope and color

You get a written scope before anything starts, and color boards go up against the house rather than being chosen from a brochure.

04

Tear off and rebuild

The old roof comes off, the deck gets inspected while it is visible, and the new system goes on. Most single family roofs are one or two days.

05

Permits and inspection

Our office manager handles permits and the city inspection. It is administrative and it is the part that quietly goes wrong when nobody owns it.

06

The magnet pass

Drive, lawn and beds, checked before anyone leaves the site.

The Difference

The part that decides how it goes.

Hail applies here too, and commercial claims carry the same supplement problem as residential ones with a larger number attached. Roof-mounted equipment and the screening around it are frequently missed on a first scope.

Before You Call

Commercial, answered.

Can you work outside our opening hours?

Often, and it depends on the system going down and how much of it can be closed up in a shift. It is worth raising at the estimate rather than after scheduling.

Our roof ponds after rain. Is that a defect?

Water still sitting on a low-slope roof two days after rain is generally treated as a drainage problem rather than normal. It is worth looking at before it becomes a leak.

Do you handle commercial hail claims?

Yes, with the same supplement work as a residential claim. Rooftop equipment and the screening around it are the line items most often left out of a first scope.

Commercial, handled from the first inspection to the final nail.

Let's work together

Get up there and find out.

We walk the roof, photograph what is on it, and tell you whether it is a claim, a repair, or nothing yet. No charge for any of those three answers.
