Most of what we do is houses, and most of those houses are not in an emergency. Somebody noticed a stain on a ceiling, or a neighbor had a roof replaced and mentioned the storm, or a buyer's inspector wrote a line about the roof and now there is a deadline attached to it.
Those are different problems with different right answers. A stain can be a boot that has perished around a vent pipe, which is an hour of work. The same stain can be a valley that has been leaking slowly for two winters into decking that now has to come out. You cannot tell which from the ceiling, and you can tell almost immediately from the roof.
How It Works
Free inspection
A roof cannot be judged from the ground, and plenty of them turn out to have years left. The visit costs nothing either way.
The claim, if there is one
A carrier pays against a scope written in its own estimating format, so that is the format the damage has to be documented in. Somebody here does that full time.
Scope and color
You get a written scope before anything starts, and color boards go up against the house rather than being chosen from a brochure.
Tear off and rebuild
The old roof comes off, the deck gets inspected while it is visible, and the new system goes on. Most single family roofs are one or two days.
Permits and inspection
Our office manager handles permits and the city inspection. It is administrative and it is the part that quietly goes wrong when nobody owns it.

So the inspection comes first and it is free, including when the answer is that nothing needs doing yet. A fair number of the people we work for are on their second roof with us, which only happens if the first visit was straight with them.

How much does a new roof cost?
On a typical Flower Mound or Plano single family home the range runs wide enough that quoting it here would mislead you. Pitch, square footage, decking and material move it substantially. The estimator on this site gives you a bracket and the free visit gives you the number.
Can you repair rather than replace?
Often, yes. A boot, a flashing or a run of valley can usually be repaired on a roof that is otherwise sound. What decides it is how much life the surrounding shingle has left.
Do you work with HOAs?
Yes. Several of the neighborhoods we work in have HOA approval requirements on color and material, and we will answer their questions and make sure the city inspection happens. Our office manager runs that side of it.
How do I know if hail actually hit my roof?
Soft metal tells you first. Dents in vents, gutters, garage doors and window screens are the giveaway, because they bruise where a shingle only loses granules. If the soft metal is marked, the roof is worth looking at.
